Childrens Spanish Classes
Fun & Interactive Spanish Lessons for Kids of All Ages
Our NEW TERM of classes start back on Monday 19th August 2024, after the summer holiday break - we'd love to have your child join us for a FREE trial class!
¡Hola! Estrellas Brillantes offers a wide range of classes, all tailored to your child's age and stage, so children of every age can learn with us... but with so many songs, games, stories, roleplays, and fun activities, they won't even feel like they're learning!
New children are always welcome to join our classes, and FREE trial classes are available. No prior Spanish knowledge is required to join a class (up to 'Mi Viaje por España' level for P6-S1s), as previous learning is brought into class on a weekly basis through our songs, games, and activities, so new children can fit into an established class, and start learning straight away. Prior Spanish knowledge is recommended for Mi Viaje por España & ¡Vamos, Aventuras en España! (S1-S4) and above.
In all the school-age classes, every child receives a full-colour A4 workbook to use in class and at home, and digital access to songs and listening activities, which are available on the La Jolie Ronde app.
Our monthly membership costs £27 per month* with a joining fee of £20 (which provides the book/music pack for school-age children and a personalised magic bag, class mascot bear, and digital music access for the baby & toddler classses) The book for each class lasts at least a year (a second/third sibling receives a half-price book)
*Monthly class fees are worked out by dividing the cost of the total number of classes during the year by 11 months (no payment due in July) so you pay the same monthly cost each month, and this is automatically charged on the same date each month, so you don't need to keep signing up for blocks (The membership can be cancelled at any time) Please note that some months will have more classes than others due to when school holidays fall, but this averages out across the months.

Hola Caramelo

- Hola Caramelo classes start back on Mon 19th, Fri 23rd and Sat 24th Aug 2024
Join our class mascot Caramelo in our fun and friendly family class, for babies & toddlers (age 0 - 4), and their grown-ups. We use songs, rhymes, Makaton signs, stories, parachute games and bubbles to make classes fun and interactive for little ones, and there’s lots of parent-child interaction.
Our monthly membership for this class costs £27 per month (per family) with a joining fee of £20. The joining fee provides access to the digital music that we use in class, via the La Jolie Ronde app, and a personalised ´bolsa mágica' (magic bag) for your child, which includes their own Caramelo bear (our class mascot), and props to use in class - shakers, bells, coloured scarves, a rainbow ribbon, coloured felt & crayons.
Membership includes weekly term-time classes, and access to our fantastic new online portal with class updates, vocabulary images, online games and printables, so you can continue to encourage your child in their language learning at home!

Our class mascots Mifú and Tina (a friendly cat and mouse) and their friends - Sergio, Paco, Pablo, Ana & Roberto help the children learn Spanish through interactive stories, songs, rhymes and games about their adventures. This book is aimed at children aged 5-6, and the seasons of the year are used to introduce different topics eg. going shopping, going on a picnic, getting dressed, family members ... and lots more!

.This is the second book all about the adventures of Mifú, Tina, and their friends. This book is aimed at children aged 5-7, and it builds on the themes and vocabulary that the children learned in the first book. There are lots of new stories, songs, rhymes to help children progress on their language learning journey with new topics like the weather, going to the bakery, going on holiday, picking a birthday present... and lots more fun topics! (Children in P2/P3 can start on this book, without completing the first book)

Join our friends Pedro and Carmen, and learn Spanish through fun and interactive songs, flashcard games, short role plays, listening and speaking activities. This class is suitable for 7-8 year olds, and in this class we learn about transport, family members, parts of the body, animals, days of the week.... and lots more!

Mi viaje por España

In this class, we continue to build on previous Spanish learning, by building our vocabulary, grammar, practicing our speaking skills, adapting roleplays, making up our own conversations and descriptions of people, places and events… but we still use interactive games and activities to keep learning fun and dynamic.

¡Vamos! Aventuras en España

This book comes after 'Mi Viaje por España' and it is aimed at high school students, who have prior Spanish knowledge. We focus on listening, reading, writing and speaking, and the young people have the opportunity to grow in confidence in their Spanish listening and understanding skills, and practice speaking and adapting dialogues. This is a great class for children who have been learning Spanish, and want to become better prepared for studying Spanish at Nat 5 and Higher level.

At Estrellas Brilliantes, all the fun isn't just for the kids! We offer classes suitable for ages 0-100. So whether you're looking for a new challenge, or the whole family wants to learn Spanish, there's a class on our timetable for you!
Both my 3 year old and 10 year old are learning Spanish with Rachel. I have been taking my 3 year old to the Friday class and we are both loving it! It is FUN and educational! My 10 year old also enjoys her class. We've made a lot of progress together in the last 4 months and I never thought that learning Spanish would be that easy!! Both my kids love Rachel! She has a talent for teaching and she is also working very hard! Estrellas Brillantes has classes for all ages (including adults) and any level! I would highly recommend the classes to anyone!
My daughter has now done 5 years of Spanish classes with Rachel, starting in mum/toddler and finishing p3 now, and my 2yr old son has also been attending since he was a baby. They both absolutely love the classes and adore their teacher Rachel who is so good with them. It continues to amaze me how well they pick up the language and songs. Rachel is excellent with the children, making the classes good fun. They cover different themes, using props, songs & activities. I can’t recommend it enough, a great class for kids (& I enjoy it just as much!!)
My 5 year old daughter has been enjoying Rachel's preschool level class since she was 9 months old and is looking forward to starting the school age class this summer. When l ask her about what she enjoys about the class she says "all of it"! She really enjoys the songs and using the props from her "Bolsa Magica". Her favourite Spanish word at the moment is "perrito". She loves dancing along to the songs and running around chasing the bubbles. We have both made great friends at class with many of the children and their parents and have formed a great friendship with Rachel who is so friendly and approachable to all the children who come along, from the longer term attendees to those who are there for their first taster class.
Rachel's 'Hola Caramelo' Spanish classes are fabulous. I've been bringing my 3-year-old granddaughter to the Busby class since last September. What fun we have both had and I cant believe how much she has learned in such a short time. The songs and games are on a perfect level for the age group, and it's amazing to see how quickly even the youngest catch on. Rachel is just great with the children and puts so much effort into making the classes -100% fun for them all . Well done Rachel and Caramelo!!
Wow, what an amazing week my daughter had at the Spanish Fundraiser Week! Rachel is one of the kindest girls I have had the pleasure of meeting. She is wonderful with children. My daughter loved every moment at the classes. They were so organised and full of fun activities. Each day she came home with her folder filled with what she had learnt and links to the songs they had been learning. I would highly recommend these classes.
My son has been attending Spanish classes with Rachel for the last few years. In that time his Spanish has come on leaps and bounds. He thoroughly enjoys the classes as everything is taught in a fun and interesting way. Rachel is lovely and very welcoming. Brilliant class and would thoroughly recommend.
My daughter, Zahra has been involved in Rachel's spanish classes weekly as well as her summer club the last couple of years. She absolutely loves the classes. All of Rachel's young students have so much respect for her and have loads of fun through all the activities and games, Zahra always leaves with a smile on her face. Rachel is very committed to her students and their learning and cannot do enough to help them, as I have witnessed time and again over the last couple of years. She involves parents with regular updates on the class progress which is fantastic. My parents were so impressed with my daughter's progress they decided to get involved in Rachel's adult Spanish classes also, which they love. I honestly cannot recommend these classes enough!
This is a great class - my 2 year old loves the fun songs, sings along & enjoys counting in Spanish. I am learning basic Spanish too. Fun AND educational - Win Win! Highly recommended!
My son joined Rachel's Caramelo class when he was 3.5 years old, and was instantly hooked with her delivery of the material through games and the catchy songs along with her bubbly personality. He would ask for the app on for every car journey so he could sing along. We always looked forward to our Saturday classes and now my son is almost 6 and has sinced moved up a few classes, he still gets excited for his Spanish class every week! Taking him to Rachel's class was definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made for him as I can see how much he has learned and how much he still loves it!
